Company Overview
Our world is always turning, but in early 2020, it swerved. Professor Feng Zhang, a world-renowned molecular biologist leading a research lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, hit pause on his then-current work and, along with fellow colleagues, pivoted to address our emergent need: the COVID-19 pandemic.
Along with our world class team that is fueled by an insatiable urge to solve difficult problems, Dr. Zhang founded Proof Diagnostics to develop a cutting edge, CRISPR-based platform for nucleic acid detection that has been optimized for ease of use, speed and performance. Our first test system -- designed to detect COVID-19 -- will enable us to fulfill our mission to participate in restoring a degree of normalcy to our world. Further, our scalable platform for rapid, accurate, convenient, and affordable infectious disease detection can be applied to address many more problems in healthcare.
