development, manufacturing, and marketing of recombinant proteins. Our mission is to empower
scientists and biomanufacturers by providing sustainable, scalable, and high-performing technologies for
cell & gene therapies, vaccines, biological products, IVF, and medical devices. We offer plant-based
proteins and growth factors that eliminate the need for blood and serum components that are
traditionally used in the manufacturing and formulation of therapeutics. The current supply of human
and animal components cannot scale to support the future demand of therapeutics. Regulatory bodies
like the FDA and EMA discourage the use of blood-derived proteins and serum due to potential risks and
batch-to-batch variation, making InVitria's technologies indispensable for industries seeking safer and
more efficient biomanufacturing processes.
InVitria’s products are incorporated in thirty (30) on-market products including eleven (11) therapeutics.
These are sold in more than 40 countries and approved by FDA, EMA, and PMDA. Our products are made
with a plant-based recombinant protein manufacturing technology called ExpressTec, which utilizes rice
as the expression host. InVitria has more than 1,000 active customers, with many more to come.
