The company was founded by Andreas Loew, a veteran protein and antibody engineer and former global head of new technologies/biologics at the Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research (NIBR). Elstar Therapeutics leverages recent technical advances in antibody development to generate molecules with superior pharmacological properties that are capable of harnessing our growing understanding of immune system modulation to treat various diseases such as in oncology and autoimmunity.
