Description

Inside Sales is responsible for directly selling Proveris Scientific Corporation’s products and services, increasing revenue and product profitability, and directing, managing, and growing the company’s sales efforts within the Inside Sales Territory. The individual will work with and track activities in Proveris’s CRM system (salesforce.com), complete support plan renewals, and generate new support plan sales. The individual will report to the Vice President of Sales.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell selected Proveris products and services within assigned territory.
  • Increase revenue and product profitability.
  • Develop and execute against annual sales goals and bookings targets.
  • Sell support plans to new and existing customers.
  • Maintain contacts and records, and track activities, in Proveris’s CRM system.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system.
  • Initiate corrective actions related to the function areas listed above.
  • Initiate preventive actions related to any product or process.
  • Able to travel to trade shows and other domestic and international activities 3 times per year.




Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years of in-house sales and marketing experience working for a small company is preferable.
  • Self-starter, ability to manage and drive workload in a timely fashion.
  • Working knowledge of internationally recognized quality management system (i.e., ISO9001, or cGxP) environment.
  • Excellent time/task management, interpersonal, communications, and writing skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite
  • “Hands-on” personality with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Desire to be part of a growing, fast-paced company.


Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in science-related field. In-house sales, order processing and accounting experience is essential.



Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.



Work Environment:

Moderate noise level associated with open office work environment and site conditions.
