

Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, the Senior Systems Administrator will be a member of our Infrastructure team responsible for managing our endpoints, servers, AWS and Azure IaaS and private cloud platforms. This role will be a leader for integrating and automating our many platforms and tools, driving automatic endpoint provisioning and working to simplify processes such as identity management and application provisioning/deprovisioning.
This role must be based in one of our office locations in Lexington, MA, San Diego, CA or London, UK. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office, and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Administer and streamline our identity solutions, deploying Okta SSO with SCIM provisioning to our catalog of existing and new applications
- Provide expert knowledge managing our Microsoft 365 solutions including Intune, AutoPilot, Azure AD, MDM/MAM, and other associated tools and platforms
- Play key role in new software/hardware implementations and replacements
- Identify and suggest system or process improvements through change control
- Review regular security alerts and system audits, and participate in incident response and vulnerability scanning and remediation activities
- Assist in day to day administration of various software platforms
- Deliver projects with milestones, status reporting, and vendor management
- Be an escalation point for our support staff, assisting with complex end-user issues
- Provide IT staff and end-user training, and contribute to KnowledgeBase documentation
- Take initiative for continuous learning on major Kiniksa platforms and systems
Requirements
- 8+ years’ relevant, experience administering IT systems and tools
- Significant history of driving automation and integration of platforms
- Strong experience with Cloud Identity solutions (AzureAD, Okta, etc.)
- Strong experience administering Microsoft tools and platforms (eg: O365, M365, Azure)
- Comfortable in a scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, etc.
- Experience with some of the following:
- AWS platform management
- Network Device Management
- Security and SIEM platforms
- Data migration projects, or work in SQL or other database solutions
- Data analytics or middleware (Tableau, Informatica, Boomi, PowerBI, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues on user endpoints and servers
- Excellent business communication and documentation skills
- Service/Customer-oriented and calm under pressure
- Ability to self-prioritize and manage time
- Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
